The pork sisig was very fatty, savory, and went perfect with rice and a glass of calamansi juice! The lumpia was a STAND OUT! Please get it. The filling was perfectly juicy and salted. The lechon was unfortunately a little too fatty and the skin not crispy enough- you can do without. Service and ambiance was great! I went on a Thursday afternoon and we had the place to ourselves. It was small so I could see it filling up.

I had the pleasure of trying this spot tonight with my cousin and I can honestly say its the best Filipino food I have had in the area. My cousin loves this place too and she recently moved here a few years ago from the Philippines and this spot reminds us of home! We had the lechon kawali, kare kare with garlic rice, pancit bihon and iscrambol. Everything was a 10/10. My favorite was the kare kare, one of my favorite Filipino dishes. It was so rich and authentic! I am also happy to report that there are a lot of tofu options for vegetarians. I can't wait to come back and try other items, especially their silogs for breakfast and sinigang! Service was really fast because it wasn't too busy and everyone is polite. 100% will be back

The adobo pork and garlic rice were delicious! I went early and the tiny place was empty most of the time I was there except for a brisk delivery business. I will definitely go back again and try other dishes.

Went there with a group of my Filipino friends to celebrate one of their bdays. One of them said to me that there are a bunch of Filipino restaurants in the area, but he thought Kalye Bistro was the best one (in the area). The seating area of the restaurant is pretty small, yet very cozy. One can pretty much see it all (minus the kitchen) at first glance upon entry. We reserved a table for 5 and were surprised by the largest table in the place. The food; I should start by saying that I have NO background of what traditional Filipino food is/should be. Heard about it plenty over the yrs, but this was my first time trying how Filipinos actually eat. My friends ordered everything. The only thing I chose was my beverage, Calamansi Juice... I liked it, could have guessed it was like "Kumquat juice"? I was very surprised by my friends telling me that there are NO Filipino sodas (pop). OK, back to the food... I felt it was all very good! Can't say that I did not like a single thing ordered. My favorite was the Fried Chicken skin... said jokingly that's almost like cheating! How could you go wrong with the best part of a chicken + frying it?! Everything, for me, had a touch of foreign (in a good way). Guess the only thing that could have been out of my westerner's comfort zone was a "shrimp paste" that came with a dish which was reminiscent of curry (with fried pork chunk, yum!). The soup they ordered was quite tasty (although for me it did not provide the "comfort food feel that it did for my friends). Our server was very nice and attentive. I felt it was very good value for what you pay.

Small, local mom and pop kind of establishment. Clean, quiet and intimate. They seem to cook on demand, one meal at a time, so prepare for a homemade meal in 30 minutes- worth the wait!! (We left our stuff belongings on the table, walked around the Filipino neighborhood, bought some authentic Filipino snacks and then returned.) Ordered the LUMPIA and SINIGANG PORK (a tangy soup akin to a Thai Tum Yum soup with tender pork chunks) and a side of white rice (presumably to dip into the soup?) OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. My first time experiencing Filipino food!! I love all the way in NJ and can't wait to drive back there!!

Small and cozy restaurant with great food! Pleasantly surprised with the chicken inasal. We expected it to be dry but the look of it but it was juicy and packed with flavor-- my personal favorite. My boyfriend really enjoyed the pork sisig. It smelled delicious when it came out-- his words "juicy, crispy, savory, fatty, comforting, and delicious". The lechón was also good. You would usually expect it to be greasy and oily, but it wasn't really and the meat was still juicy! It was not as flavorful as others I have had but still good! Service was quick and easy. No frills. They take your order, they bring out your order! Thanks for a great experience

Food was delicious! Starting from our Chicharon Bulaklak, to the pork adobo which had some banging was so fall off the meat (no bones). The pansit palabok had lumpia on top and the sauce so delicious. You can have it as a complete meal. We also ordered the pork chops with their special sauce. It was not a Filipino dish if I may say so, but delicious as well. I certainly would like to go back!
